Chilli Con Carne
With Mak Tok’s Fire Chilli Paste
1) Pour the oil into a saucepan and heat it up.
2) Add onions to the saucepan and sauté until lightly brown before adding in the minced beef. Stir well.
3) Add canned chopped tomatoes, red kidney beans, beef stock, bell peppers and Mak Tok’s Fire Chilli Paste. Mix all the ingredient well in the saucepan. Season with salt to taste
4) Scoop the chilli con carne to a deep plate and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with toasty bread or rice.
Top tip: For a luxurious finish, add a scoop of soured cream to the chilli con carne before serving.
