Steamed Soft Tofu
With Mak Tok’s Satay Chilli Paste
1) Marinate the cauliflower with soy sauce and Mak Tok’s Satay Chilli Paste.
2) Add oil into a saucepan and heat it up. Add the onions and sauté for a minute before adding in the cauliflower. Sauté for a further 4 minutes and set aside. Your topping is done.
3) Place soft tofu on a plate suitable for steaming. Add the topping on the tofu along with some carrots for colour. Place the tofu in a steamer and steam for 7 minutes.
4) Remove tofu from steamer and garnish with spring onions before serving.
Top tip: Sprinkle some fried shallots at the end for an extra amount of deliciousness.
