Super Fried Rice

With Mak Tok’s Signature Chilli Paste

This super fried rice is a quick and easy recipe, perfect for using up any spare vegetables you have in the refrigerator or your favourite veggies! For inspiration, good combinations are broccoli florets, bell peppers and baby corn. You can also add chicken or an egg for extra protein and texture. This super fried rice is certainly versatile for any occasion. This dish can be served on the table in under 20 minutes. It also works well both hot and cold.

  • 2 to 3 tbsp Mak Tok's Signature Chilli Paste
  • 250 g Leftover rice
  • 100 g A mix of any vegetables that you can find


1) Using a chopping board, finely slice a mixture of vegetables up.

2) Heat up the wok with oil.

2) Place the vegetables in the wok and fry for 10-15 minutes on medium to high heat.

3) Add the rice and Mak Tok’s Signature chilli paste and fry for another 5 mins. Reduce the heat to ensure it does not burn.

4) Lunch/dinner served!


Top Tip: Add 150-200ml of water if the rice and vegetables need more moisture.
